Join The Greater Dayton School team as a Part-Time School Bus Driver
. Assist the school’s bus route while ensuring safety for all students.
- Monday – Friday
- 6:00 am – 8:30 am
- 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
- NO holidays or weekends
- Learn the bus routes
- Drive bus routes during the timeframe
- Help students get buckled in (with assistance from aide)
- Keep students seated (monitored by bus aide)
- Communicate with other bus drivers
- Ensure student safety (monitored by bus aide)
- Take attendance
- Safe transportation of students: safety and reliability are two of the most important factors in the transportation for students to and from our School.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have current CDL with passenger endorsement and/or school bus equivalent
- Must have HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to authorize a background check
- Previous work or experience with youth preferred
