Overview
A Plus Expediting & Logistics, Inc. is looking for drivers for an entry level position as an employee driver in one of our cargo vans. This is a full-time courier role that involves picking up items (no hazmat) and delivering them around the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus areas.
Responsibilities- Drive a company cargo van to pick up and deliver items, including envelopes, flowers, boxes of business cards and/or copy paper, printed forms and materials, up to skids of various materials and products.
- Complete deliveries to customers and locations in the specified service areas with accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform occasional inside delivery and basic material handling as required.
- Reliability; ability to come to work consistently
- Time management
- Detail oriented
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- At least 2 years of driving experience ("being paid to drive", even if driving was only part of the job)
- Eligibility to be approved and added to the company's insurance
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds
