Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) Driver

Pride Staff, a national workforce solutions firm, is seeking compassionate, reliable drivers for a leading Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider in Dayton. This is more than just a driving job—it's a vital service that ensures members of our community get to their life-saving medical appointments safely and on time.
Compensation, Shift, & Location Details
- Pay Structure: $18/hr (company vehicle provided and fuel paid for)
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 4:00AM – 7:00 PM (different 8 hr shifts available, but preference for individuals who can start at 4am or 5am) - Location:
Montgomery County, OH - Experience:
1-2 years of driving experience required, preferably with experience in caregiving or customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transport:
Providing door-to-door transportation for clients to medical appointments, clinics, and hospitals. - Patient Assistance:
Helping customers in and out of your vehicle and ensuring they reach the specific office or department they need. - Reliability:
Following a daily pickup schedule to ensure no one misses a vital appointment. - Professionalism:
Offering a friendly, comfortable, and "customer-centric" experience for every passenger. - Communication:
Utilizing navigation apps and staying in touch with your supervisor regarding route specifics.

What You'll Need to Succeed
- Insurance:
Must carry required minimum general liability and auto liability coverage. - Great Driving Record: A clean driving record and strong time-management skills are essential.

Comfortable using mobile phones and GPS/navigation apps. - Professionalism:
You must pass a background check, drug screen, and a company-sponsored defensive driving course. - Independence:
Ability to manage your route and work effectively/efficiently.
