The Warehouse Associate is responsible for pulling, staging, inventorying and receiving materials, equipment and tools in the warehouse. overseeing purchasing and warranty activities for the opco.  Responsibilities include performing general facility and warehouse maintenance as needed.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Receive, stock and stage materials, equipment and tools to the warehouse, verify accuracy and quality of deliveries to support on-time job completion, proper inventory levels and timely processing of credits from returned materials.
* Accurately perform purchasing activities to support the on-time completion of jobs and maximize customer satisfaction.
* Perform and oversee the warranty process to ensure timely credits are issued to improve company cash flow.
* Performs inventory restocks, tool management and maintain supplies for technicians to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
* Safely and accurately organize, prepare and pull orders for field personnel to minimize technician downtime and ensure inventory accuracy.
** Interpersonal Responsibilities
*** Communicate all shipping or inventory related issues, including but not limited to unavailable, damaged, missing or incorrect inventory, as well as receipt of material to the appropriate department manager or contact.
* Communicate arrival of POs to appropriate sales/scheduling staff and communicate any receiving and shipping issues.

* *** perational Responsibilities
*** Participate in the layout, re-organization, and implementation of new warehouse procedures.
* Participate in identifying and implementing cost reduction projects across the department.
* Perform general warehouse maintenance, lights, minor repairs, etc.
* Clear and salt sidewalks and walkways of snow and ice.
* Maintain a clean and safe warehouse to include; sweeping, removal of trash, cleaning and clearing dumpsters, recycling and other trash areas.
* Stock, stage and pull equipment/materials to meet daily service and installation schedules.
* Maintain company tool check-in/checkout procedure.
* Restock service van parts and replace tools as needed.
* Research and provide quote information on parts for service repairs to proper department.
* Process warranty claims and return parts to vendor as needed and make sure credits are received.
* Transfers inventory stock, refrigerant, company tools and ladders from the warehouse to the appropriate technicians/truck/job.
* Document and ensure completion of proper paperwork.
* Receive and provide feedback on tools, trucks and equipment from service/install technicians and report to proper internal personnel.
* Perform counts and ensure accuracy and quality of orders received.
* Restock received/returned material to warehouse inventory.
* Perform annual warehouse and parts room inventories and assist Technicians in performing scheduled physical truck inventories.
* Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to the proper department manager.
* Assist in returning parts to vendors.
* Ensure paperwork is accurately completed and the part is correctly tagged.
* Safely operate company fork lift to move and load materials and equipment.
* Assist in setting up new vehicles.
* Ensure vehicles have required inventory, numbering and GPS.
* Coordinate and make deliveries and pickups to offsite company locations as needed.
* May order materials and equipment as requested.
