Warehouse Supervisor About the Opportunity
Join a growing food manufacturer in the Greater Cincinnati area that partners with some of the nation's largest consumer packaged goods companies and serves the U.S. government with shelf-stable food products. With manufacturing operations across the country and a reputation for quality and operational excellence, this organization is continuing to invest in its people and facilities. We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, drive continuous improvement, and help ensure products move safely and efficiently from receiving through shipment.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory, and material movement.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Warehouse Associates while assigning daily priorities.
- Ensure accurate, on-time inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and effective inventory control.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Drive process improvements that increase efficiency, optimize warehouse space, and improve workflows.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and report inventory performance to leadership.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Production, and Quality to support uninterrupted operations and food safety.
- Utilize WMS and ERP systems to manage inventory and warehouse performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent warehouse management experience.
- 6+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably within food manufacturing.
- Previous experience leading warehouse teams.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
- Strong warehouse operations and inventory management expertise
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Process improvement mindset with a focus on operational excellence
- Commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven with a high level of accountability and attention to detail
- Requires regular computer use and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
