Keep Materials Moving and Operations Running Smoothly as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist!

Pay Rate: $18.75/hr

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support warehouse and production operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, tracking, staging, and shipping materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient material flow throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving
  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials

Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records

  • Perform cycle counts and routine inventory audits

  • Use inventory management systems to track materials and stock levels

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

Material Handling
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for production and shipment

  • Ensure materials are available to support production schedules

  • Maintain organized storage locations and warehouse layouts

Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, and other departments to resolve material issues

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow

Qualifications

  • Shipping and receiving

  • Warehouse operations

  • Material handling

  • Inventory control

Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Basic computer and inventory system skills

  • Ability to lift and move materials as required

Pay Details: $18.75 per hour
