The person chosen for this position will integrate faith and learning in the classroom while contributing to a collaborative, Christ-centered academic community committed to the mission to “educate students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.”
This part-time Faculty Fellow position emphasizes excellence in teaching and meaningful student engagement in small class settings where faculty can support students’ intellectual and spiritual formation. Faculty should possess a strong academic and/or professional background, a commitment to a Biblical worldview, and a desire to work alongside colleagues in a collegial and supportive faculty environment.
This position is focused on teaching undergraduate Business courses. The successful candidate will teach two courses, or 6 credit hours, per semester across Management, Marketing, Business, or related topics as assigned. Faculty will prepare course plans and materials, provide timely feedback and grades, keep weekly office hours, and serve students through academic support and personalized instruction.
Faculty Fellows may also be invited to participate in other dimensions of campus life as appropriate. All Bryan faculty are expected to follow the policies, guidelines, and instructions in the Bryan College Faculty Handbook.

Minimum of a master’s degree in a business-related field and/or substantive, relevant professional experience; graduate coursework in Management, Marketing, Business, or another related business discipline preferred.
Experience Required- Previous college teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of principles, methods, and current developments in the academic discipline and in professional business practice.
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques appropriate to teaching the courses assigned.
- Ability to create a syllabus and effectively deliver the learning objectives of the course.
- Ability to advise, instruct, manage, motivate, and evaluate students.
- Ability to learn relevant functions of Bright Space, Bryan College’s online learning management system.
- Ability to effectively and appropriately integrate technology into the teaching and learning process.
- Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators, educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner.
- Teach a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester across Management, Marketing, Business, or related courses as assigned; provide timely feedback and grades to students.
- Prepare course plans, syllabi, assignments, and instructional materials that support course learning objectives.
- Integrate faith and learning in a manner consistent with the mission and commitments of Bryan College.
- Serve students through academic support, timely communication, and personalized instruction.
- Maintain weekly office hours equal to one office hour per credit hour taught to support student success and provide academic coaching.
- Use Bright Space and other relevant instructional technologies effectively and appropriately in the teaching and learning process.
- Participate in other dimensions of campus life when invited and when appropriate to the role.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This is a part-time Faculty Fellow position.
- Working hours will consist of course meetings, preparation, grading, student communication, and required office hours. Longer hours may be required at various times during the year.
- Light physical activity such as walking and standing is required on a daily basis. Some travel may be required.
