Provide support and training for teachers, staff, and parents to address and manage students with challenging behaviors.
QualificationsEducation/Certification
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience working with students with behavioral challenges preferred
Training in behavior management techniques and crisis intervention preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
Ability to work effectively with students exhibiting significant behavioral challenges
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents
Knowledge of behavior and social skill intervention techniques and methodology
Ability to work with students with pervasive developmental disabilities
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience
Experience working with students including implementing behavior management strategies.

Maintain emotional control under stress; may work prolonged or irregular hours
