Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and review revenue contracts to determine proper accounting treatment under ASC 606, ensuring documentation and compliance
- Oversee month-end close processes for assigned revenue streams including reconciliations, journal entry review, and variance analysis
- Lead data mapping, transformation, and validation initiatives across multiple systems, ensuring accurate integration into Workday
- Manage system-to-system reconciliations and revenue automation efforts to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy
- Serve as subject matter expert during external audits and collaborate cross-functionally with tax, legal, FP&A, and sales teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience
- Strong experience applying ASC 606 in complex, contract-based revenue environments
- CPA or CPA eligible with prior public accounting experience and demonstrated supervisory experience
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems;
Workday Financials experience is highly valued - Experience with contracted revenue and data-intensive reconciliations
