** Job Description
**** SUMMARY
* * The Manager – Shared Service Accounting is a key member of the corporate accounting and SEC reporting team, with responsibility to manage the accounting for centralized functions. This leadership results in the timely and accurate recognition of transactions, provides technical accounting guidance and is charged with execution of key internal controls. Responsible for providing accounting oversight and significant expertise to Branch Support Center and field management.

This role operates in a customer-focused, shared-services environment.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
*** Support internal monthly, quarterly and annual month-end close process to provide timely execution of financial results for management
* Review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for fixed assets, intangibles, leases and cash
* Research fluctuations in account balances/activity and provide detailed explanations to management.
* Liaise between accounting staff and departmental/field leadership to understand key projects and advise on accounting treatment, where necessary.
* Lead financial integration activities into Top Build’s systems and processes for leases and fixed assets acquired through M&A.
* Monitor compliance with Top Build Accounting Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
* Other project involvement may include research of new accounting pronouncements, ad-hoc reporting & analytics requests and process improvements
* Other duties as assigned
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA preferred.
* 5+ years’ experience in Accounting required.
* Solid foundation in U.S. GAAP and ASC 842 exposure (Leases)
* Intermediate Excel and ERP experience. Tango, SAGE, Oracle a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style
** POSITION LOCATION
** Onsite in Daytona Beach, FL. Minimum of 3 days onsite each week will be required.
