Screening Receptionist – Daytona Beach, FL
Fortrea, a leading Clinical Research Organization, is seeking a full‑time Screening Receptionist to support day‑to‑day administration of medical screening sessions. The role focuses on participant check‑in/check‑out and data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Manage participant check‑in and check‑out processes, ensuring a smooth professional experience.
- Perform quality checks (QCs) on documentation and screening files.
- Prepare, organize, and file participant charts and screening paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in internal databases.
- Ensure all required forms, consent documents, and GP reports are complete and compliant.
- Provide front‑desk reception support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Keep the screening area organized and well‑maintained.
- Accurately track attendance and support administrative reporting.
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Fortrea may consider relevant experience).
- Previous administrative or reception experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Professional, customer‑focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous medical office/clinic experience is ideal but not required.
Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a laboratory and/or clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Occasional drives to site locations and domestic travel may be required. Exposure to biological fluids and use of personal protective equipment such as eyewear, garments, and gloves is expected.
Physical requirements include the ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6–8 hours per day, repetitive hand movements, occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and twisting of the upper body and neck, and light to moderate lifting up to 20 lbs. Regular and consistent attendance is essential.
