Flight Data Reception And Records Operations Associate

The Flight Department seeks a Flight Data Reception and Records Operations Associate to serve as a central point of coordination within the Flight Data & Certification (FD&C) Department. This position functions as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and regulatory documentation, ensuring the accurate intake, processing, and routing of high-volume, high-risk flight training records that are ultimately submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

This role requires independent judgment, sustained attention to detail, and advanced coordination skills, as errors or delays can directly impact student certification eligibility, check ride scheduling, regulatory compliance, and institutional standing with federal agencies. The position operates with minimal direct supervision and plays a vital role in maintaining workflow continuity across analysts, specialists, ACRs, and departmental leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving students and colleagues at the reception desk
  • Answering the phone and emails
  • Reviewing documentation for errors and scanning documents to support the process
  • Performing data entry
  • Workflow and systems management
  • Supporting the needs of the Analysts, Specialist, ACR and Manager
  • Guiding student assistants in support of those tasks
