Job Summary:

This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Natural Sciences.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level.

* Preferred candidates for the position must hold a Master's degree or a Ph.D. degree in a biological science. While all areas are considered, desired areas include anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and plant biology.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)

Education and Experience:

* Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in a biological science.

* Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school. Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.

* The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune
- Cookman University.

* U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
