Job Description
Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University, a leading aviation and aerospace university, is celebrating its Centennial. We are hiring an Academic Evaluator for the Daytona Beach campus. The role evaluates student progress toward graduation, maintains academic records, advises students, and supports administrative tasks related to graduation.
Responsibilities- Supports admissions process by evaluating credit equivalency and posting credit in Campus Solutions.
- Prepares student evaluations throughout the academic career to ensure degree requirements are met.
- Updates academic advising reports in response to program changes, advanced standing, course equivalency exams, substitutions, and flight certificates.
- Educates students on degree programs, academic rules, policies, and catalog interpretation.
- Evaluates off‑campus petitions and requests for pre‑approved courses for equivalency and transferability.
- Enters data in the student information system for graduation reports, diploma production, and degree postings.
- Processes final grades, recalculates GPAs for honors, ABET accreditation, and degree eligibility; audits transcripts.
- Produces degree verification letters for military, government, and employment purposes.
- Assists with registration, orientation, and commencement activities.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, organizational management, communication, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of related work experience.
- Initiative, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently or within a team, and prioritize work.
- Proficient with personal computer, email/internet, Microsoft applications, and imaging systems.
- General knowledge of other institutions’ practices; detailed knowledge of ERAU academic policies and curriculum.
- Familiarity with non‑traditional advanced standing credit sources such as the AACE military guide and national exams (CLEP, DANTES).
- Experience in advising or student interaction; ability to troubleshoot student issues.
- Knowledge of basic Office of Records and Registration operations and industry best practices.
- May be required to work weekend/evening hours or during peak periods.
- Experience with software solutions implementation.
- Previous experience with SIS Campus Solutions.
