- Supervise distribution center operations across shipping and receiving dock activities, including loading, unloading, packing, and storage functions.
- Determine space requirements and coordinate storage, delivery, and distribution schedules.
- Evaluate and maintain workplace safety procedures through audits and reporting.
- Assess equipment maintenance needs to support operational efficiency and equipment life, and ensure maintenance services are properly documented.
- Support departmental planning, budgeting, staffing, and special projects that advance logistics excellence.
- Coordinate cross- functionally with administrative, technical, and labor professionals.
- Lead personnel activities, including hiring, work and people scheduling, performance management, corrective action, and recommendations regarding employment decisions.
- Assign work, monitor progress, and resolve day-to-day operational issues using sound judgment.
- Work with department supervisors, team leads, employees, peers, and external contractors or vendors as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
- Bachelor's degree required , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience required .
- Full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures, with the ability to apply standard theories, principles, and concepts to recommend a course of action.
- Experience providing direct or indirect supervision, assigning tasks, checking work, scheduling employees, and managing performance.
- Ability to resolve day-to-day operational and employee matters using sound judgment.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work a non-standard schedule as needed.
- Distribution center or warehouse operations.
- Shipping and receiving.
- Employee relations, including corrective actions.
- Performance management and supervision of direct reports.
- SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.
- Applicable industry or professional certification.
Physical Requirements
This position works in office and production or manufacturing environments with moderate noise and frequent proximity to moving parts. Job duties frequently involve sitting, standing, walking, talking, pushing or pulling, and reaching upward and downward. Handling is required occasionally. The role requires moderate physical work, including exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Salary Range- $69,279 - $86,598 / annual
