Technical Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Technical Sales Engineer for a global leader in high‑end defense instrumentation. This role will serve as the expert technical resource, assisting the Sales Manager in complex discussions with Defense OEM and system integration clients.

This position will be based remotely and can be based either in Daytona Beach or within 3 to 4 hour drive.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Optics, or a related technical discipline).
• Must have at least three (3) years technical sales support experience.
• Understanding of thermal imaging technology, infrared optics, or electro‑optical sensors.
• Experience in the defense industry.
• Up to 25% travel.

• Provide expert technical sales support for thermal camera modules used in weapon systems, vehicles, and UAV platforms.
• Serve as the expert technical resource, assisting the Sales Manager in complex discussions with Defense OEM and system integration clients.
• Provide detailed guidance on the integration of thermal camera modules.
• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to ensure product modules meet demanding OEM specifications.
• Assist in preparing competitive bid proposals, RFQs, and RFPs for defense contracts.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support during the customer testing phase and after product delivery.
