Voice Engineer

6 month+ contract. Pay: $50/hr to $65/hr mostly remote (onsite first week). Daytona, FL.

We are seeking a Voice Engineer to stabilize and modernize a large-scale, multi-site voice environment (~550 locations). The role will serve as the primary voice engineer, taking ownership of an existing Cisco-based infrastructure and leading the transition to modern, cloud-based VoIP platforms such as Ring Central.

• Own and maintain the current Cisco voice infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Lead the migration of on-prem voice systems to cloud-based VoIP platforms.
• Ensure ongoing stability, performance, and reliability of the voice environment.

• Experience with cloud voice platforms (Ring Central strongly preferred).
• Background in migrating from on-prem Cisco to cloud/hosted VoIP.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE – Collaboration).
• Exposure to hybrid voice environments and post-acquisition integrations.

• Cisco Voice experience.
• Level 3 Troubleshooting / Engineering expertise.
• Self-sufficient, takes initiative, and works well with others.
