The Opportunity

Open rank tenure‑track faculty positions in Aerospace Engineering at Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Daytona Beach. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.

Applicants in all areas of aerospace engineering are considered. The Department seeks faculty who can expand research expertise, deliver student‑centered teaching, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. We especially value candidates interested in collaborating with ERAU research centers such as the Boeing Center for Aviation and Aerospace Safety (BCAAS), the Center for Space and Atmospheric Research (CSAR), and the Center for Aerospace Resilient Systems (CARS).

The Department is the largest in the nation with more than 2,300 students, offering Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees. It is ranked #4 for undergraduates and #28 for graduate programs by U.S. News & World Report. The Department is investing in new facilities, including a 50,000‑square‑foot Engineering Building, a subsonic wind tunnel, and a flight research center, to support a research park and industry incubators.

Candidates must hold a terminal degree in engineering, preferably a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
