Position Overview
Gain hands‑on engineering experience by working on real mechanical design, prototyping, and production projects in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design detector housings, fixtures, and tooling using CAD
- Support GD&T, tolerance analysis, and drafting
- Assist with prototyping through 3D printing and machining
- Prepare drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD software
- Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drafting
- Strong hands‑on problem‑solving skills
- Clear communication and documentation abilities
- Minimum 3.0 GPA (strong project portfolios may be considered)
- FEA or thermal analysis exposure
- Manufacturing or robotics project experience
- Work on real-world engineering projects
- Gain mentorship from experienced professionals
- Build practical industry experience
