Entry-Level Civil​/Environmental Engineer at Mead & Daytona , FL

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing strong, sustained growth - and we're expanding our team. We have an exciting opportunity available for an entry-level engineer who is eager to launch their career and contribute to impactful infrastructure projects. The preferred location is Daytona Beach.

• Preparing civil/environmental engineering design documents for municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects that support growing communities
• Assisting with analysis and preparation of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits and designs for projects across full project lifecycle
• Preparing design computations, quantity/cost estimates and construction documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Visiting project sites during design and construction for design data collection and verification to gain valuable field experience
• May serve as onsite project representative
• May attend client meetings and collaborate directly with experienced engineers and project teams
• Some travel will be required

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering (or closely related field) from an ABET accredited college or university or within six (6) months of hire

• Previous relevant internship working on civil/environmental engineering projects
• EIT certification
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D software
• Experience with Revit and ArcGIS
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project software
• Hydraulic and/or hydrology, Water Gems, SewerCAD software experience would be a bonus
