We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is eager to grow within the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a full-time, office-based position in Daytona Beach, FL.
If you join us, you will work with some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in a vital stage of clinical development: establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of a new drug.
What We’re Looking For- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to learn complex technical processes.
- Exhibits initiative and consistently follows through on assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in learning and understanding procedures and systems beyond routine task execution.
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about learning new skills and tackling challenges.
- Committed to professional growth and long-term engagement in the role.
- Minimum of 1 year in a quality, R&D, or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and data integrity principles.
- Experience with sterile compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing is strongly preferred.
- Direct hospital or long-term care pharmacy technician experience.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician and/or Pharmacy Technician Certification, per applicable state requirements highly desired.
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.

Work Environment- Work is performed in a laboratory and/or a clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
- Occasional drives to site locations, occasional domestic travel.
- Exposure to biological fluids.
- Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves.
- Ability to work in an upright and/or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day.
- Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment.
- Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
- Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Varied hours may be required.
