The Assistant Distribution Manager ensures all aspects of the distribution center operate efficiently. Ensures all customer orders are processed, sales and customer service requests followed. Manpower properly planned and budget/cost levels met.

• Develops and implements logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution and inventory of finished products in order to enhance product flow.
• Assists in the development of policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
• Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
• Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
• Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.

• Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in professional field.
• Uses standard theories, principles and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
• Provides direct or indirect supervision to a group of employees, assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
• Accountabilities include work and people scheduling, performance management and recommendations for hiring decisions.
• Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
• Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers.
• Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.

Preferred skills:
Pharma/Medical Device experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 04-06 years related experience required.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Occasional business travel required, valid driver's license and passport, ability to work non-standard schedule as needed.

• The Schedule is (8am-5pm) Monday-Friday.
• The Salary range is $76,207-$95,264.
