As a
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans, support patients in their recovery journeys, and help them achieve their goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Educate patients and families about treatment goals and strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- Experience in an in-house rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
