ALL POSITIONS WILL BE ON-SITE IN DAYTONA BEACH, FL
MUST BE CERTIFIED WITHIN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING EPIC MODULES:
- Beaker
- Lumens
- Epic Care Ambulatory & Beacon Oncology
- Willow & Willow Inventory
As an Epic Application Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of specific Epic applications. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency and driving project success. This position demands a blend of operational expertise, project management acumen, and organizational proficiency to ensure that our Epic system is finely tuned to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Large hospital going through a FULL Epic implementation. Jan 31st 2026 Go-Live. Prior implementation experience a HUGE plus
Qualifications Education- A bachelor’s degree is required
- Demonstrated experience in clinical operations.
- Previous experience in Epic end-user support or application management.
- Proven track record in supporting clinical applications or healthcare environments.
- Epic certification is required
- Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users of the Epic application, promptly addressing and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues affecting application performance and user satisfaction.
- Provide guidance on workflow design, system configuration, and testing, effectively navigating technical challenges inherent in Epic software.
- Manage system changes in accordance with user requirements and organizational objectives.
- Act as a liaison between end-users, Epic implementation teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of system functionality with business needs.
- Maintain regular communication with Epic representatives and actively participate in project team meetings.
- Engage with end-users and the broader business community to understand operational requirements and implement appropriate workflow configurations.
- Lead training initiatives and provide ongoing support to end-users, facilitating troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Regularly review project status and issues with leadership to ensure adherence to project deliverables and timelines.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss project progress, address shared issues, assess user feedback, monitor budgets, and track milestones.
- Operates in a dynamic office environment.
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required, as determined by the Manager of Medical Informatics, to support software/hardware maintenance, upgrades, downtimes, and contingency planning.
- Requires consistent speed, accuracy, and proficiency in operating a range of equipment.
- Involves handling light and simple weight materials and equipment.
- Visual activity may require tolerance of prolonged periods working with computer screens.
- Epic certification will be required. Comprehensive training will be provided
- Some Epic application analyst roles may necessitate specific clinical certifications such as RN, Pharm.
D., Licensed Medical Technologist, or equivalent, depending on the supported areas.
