Identity/Access Management Analyst IThe Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining and expanding our IAM systems, fulfilling Access Requests submitted by end users through our ticketing system, supporting access management processes and procedures, and performing periodic user access audits. This role supports Halifax Health’s identity governance program, ensuring appropriate user provisioning, deprovisioning, role-based access, and compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

The IAM Analyst works across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra , Sailpoint, Epic, and other enterprise applications. This role contributes to enforcing least privilege and lifecycle access management processes while collaborating with other departments and application owners to support IT system access across the organization. Depending on the level and assignment, the role may also support physical access control systems and related security technologies.###

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent experience
* Security certification such as Security+ or SSCP a plus.
* 1+ Years Experience working with identity access management systems, door badging management systems, and camera management systems.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience working within IT ticketing systems and documented change processes.
* Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights.
* Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra , Epic, Sailpoint, Role-based access control (RBAC), and User lifecycle management
* Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call when required.### DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
* Manage and maintain our identity access management system to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to our facilities and assets.
* Provision, modify, and deprovision user access across enterprise systems in accordance with approved policies.
* Administer role-based access controls and ensure appropriate access assignments.
* Support and mature identity governance workflows within SailPoint and Halifax Health’s ticketing system.
* Perform access certifications and periodic access reviews.
* Administer and support access controls within Epic and enterprise applications.
* Collaborate with application owners to define, maintain and document access roles.
* Create and maintain documentation of IAM procedures.
* Identify and remediate excessive user access.
* Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM policies and standards.
