ICI Homes is seeking a motivated Project Manager – Land Development to support the planning, permitting, and execution of residential land development projects from concept through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow into greater leadership responsibility over time.
What You will DoAs a Project Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day management and oversight of land development projects at various stages, exercising discretion and independent judgment while partnering with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and local agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with permitting and development projects, including coordination with consultants, contractors, and local governments
- Support the creation and tracking of project budgets, schedules, and feasibility analyses
- Solicit, review, and evaluate bids and proposals from consultants and contractors; provide internal recommendations
- Assist in monitoring project schedules, milestones, and goals
- Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings to align planning, construction, and aesthetic objectives
- Help identify consultants and assess permitting, entitlement, scheduling, and material risks
- Support oversight of the permitting and entitlement process, including attending key meetings with officials as needed
- Assist with construction bid, award, and contractor selection processes
- Attend construction meetings and visit job sites to evaluate progress
- Manage invoices and track project expenses
- Represent ICI Homes on Homeowner Association (HOA) and Community Development District (CDD) Boards as needed
- 3–5 years of real estate land development experience, including at least 2 years in project management, real estate transactions, architecture/engineering, or infrastructure construction management
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret architectural and engineering plans
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and with community stakeholders
- Commitment, tenacity, and accountability to help deliver projects on time and within budget
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Quick learner with a desire to grow into increased leadership responsibilities
- Experience with Community Development Districts (CDD) is a plus
