Are you a seasoned Process Engineer with a passion for precision, a love for efficiency, and a knack for problem-solving? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a Permanent Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Solid Works, 5 axis, Mill, Lathe, CNC Set-Up, and Programming.
This role is perfect for a process engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and enjoys the challenge of improving manufacturing systems and processes. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
- Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data.
- Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems and processes.
- Developing best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to maintain equipment and systems to improve processes and minimize the cost of manufacturing.
- Working with design software and equipment to create and test prototypes for new product lines.
- Overseeing operational processes, making sure that they stick to both internal and external regulations.
- Ensuring that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC Set-Up
- Proficiency in Solid Works, 5 axis, Mill, Lathe, CNC Set-Up. Experience with Programming is preferred.
- Proven track record of successful process optimization and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering software systems.
- Excellent technical skills, including the ability to implement new systems and processes and to oversee teams and projects.
- Strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of process-related standards and experience in process simulations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
