  • Program to tight machining tolerances, including ±0.0005" and ±0.005".
  • Establish feeds, speeds, tooling, work holding, and machining parameters.
  • Develop and maintain setup sheets, fixture drawings, work instructions, and other process documentation.
  • Design or specify custom fixtures, tooling, and work holding for complex geometries.

Production & Project Support

  • Support machinists during setups, first-piece inspections, and program prove-outs.
  • Take projects from quoting and process development through validation and production handoff.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, and Operations to ensure manufacturable, repeatable processes.
  • Troubleshoot machining and process issues and implement corrective actions.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with Quality to resolve non-conformances and identify root causes.
  • Utilize problem-solving methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
