Job Description:

* Communicates courteously with internal and external customers in person or on the telephone.

* Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.

* Respond immediately to clinical deterioration or emergency calls.

* Provide real-time education on early warning signs, interventions, and documentation.

* Support and coach bedside nurses during and after rapid response events.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Skills required for work in critical care area

* Computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Electronic EMR documentation

* Effective communication

* Critical thinking skills

* Knowledge of EPIC EMR

* EKG application and identification

Education:

* Associate's of Nursing [Required]

* Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

* N/A

Work Experience:

* 3+ years of experience as a critical care registered nurse [Required]

* Experience in a specialty area(s) [Required]
