In accordance with the Mission and Cornerstone Behaviors, the Nurse Manager, under the direction of the Department Director, plans, organizes, staffs and directs patient care on a daily operational basis in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.

* Education:

Graduate from school of nursing; BSN required
* Licensure/Certification:
Current license to practice in the State of Florida

* Experience:

Minimum of two year’s recent and relevant clinical experience required
* Effective Communication Skills
* Evidence of effective leadership and management abilities/potential
* BLS healthcare provider training required
* Professional Certification Preferred
* ACLS healthcare provider training, if applicable (i.e. Emergency Department, ICU)
