RN Pediatric Clinical Manager

Overview

Family First Homecare is a pediatric home‑care agency that supports children with life‑long health conditions. The Clinical Manager (CM) leads the delivery of quality clinical services to a group of patients and ensures that all caregivers provide safe, evidence‑based care.

• Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Director of Operations (DOO) to identify, interview, and onboard caregivers.
• Provide supervision, leadership, training, guidance, and mentoring for all assigned caregivers.
• Collaborate with the compliance committee and leadership teams to deliver consistent clinical information and maintain quality standards.
• Evaluate patient appropriateness for homecare and ensure completion of comprehensive assessments upon admission, recertification, post‑hospitalizations, and PRN for all assigned patients.
• Ensure each patient has a current physician order and care plan in place.
• Manage patient care through supervision and care coordination, including overseeing the disciplinary team.
• Maintain a competency program and provide educational support for caregivers as needed for skill development.
• Promote employee engagement and retention, and participate in policy reviews, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the coordination of correction plans and new product/service implementation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an RN license in the state of employment or a Multi‑State license via the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
• One year of clinical experience and one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Valid driver license and proof of insurance.
• Working knowledge of home‑care regulatory and federal requirements.
• Strong customer‑service skills, independent judgment, initiative, and excellent organization and time‑management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to Family First office locations and patient homes within the designated area.

• Illinois:
  Require 1 year of pediatric experience.
• Pennsylvania:
  Additional background screening including child‑abuse and FBI check; TB screening required.

Work is performed in a typical office environment and patient homes. Employees must lift up to 15 pounds and may travel by car or airplane. Frequent use of office machines is expected.
