As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a collaborative and patient‑centered Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Daytona Beach team.
Position SummaryThe Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide high‑quality outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and follow‑up care for adolescent and adult patients. This provider will work collaboratively with our physicians and clinical staff while developing meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients.
This is a 100% outpatient position with no hospital call and no inpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of psychiatric disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management and ongoing follow‑up care
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical support staff to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Florida PMHNP license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Two or more years of outpatient psychiatric experience
- Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma‑related disorders, and other common psychiatric conditions
- Experience working with adolescent and adult populations
- Full‑time
- Outpatient only
- Minimum of four days per week onsite in our Daytona Beach office
