Solaris Health Care is seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive wound assessments including wound measurements and documentation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with wounds.
  • Perform wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement and other necessary interventions.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care, prevention strategies, and overall health maintenance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care treatments and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Stay current with best practices, evidence based protocols and new technologies in wound care.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of wound care policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals on wound care management.
Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
  • Wound Care Certification strongly preferred.
  • Skilled Nursing Experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Wound Care preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
Working Conditions:
  • Work may involve exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials and other conditions found in healthcare setting.
  • Must be able to lift and move patients as needed.
  • May require standing, walking & moving for extended periods.
