Senior QA Engineer – Daytona Beach, FL
Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL. The role focuses on ensuring the highest quality of our applications through comprehensive testing strategies, automation frameworks, and performance validation.
Responsibilities- Design and execute detailed test cases for web, desktop, and UI applications.
- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, smoke) to ensure thorough coverage.
- Build automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium and C# in Visual Studio.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing in Azure Dev Ops.
- Conduct API testing and validate integrations across multiple systems.
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
- Analyze requirements and provide clear, actionable feedback.
- Maintain and optimize automation suites for scalability and reliability.
- Work with Oracle and SQL databases for data validation and backend testing.
- Document test results, defects, and provide detailed reports in Azure Dev Ops.
- Work closely with the QA Lead to align with overall QA strategy and objectives.
- Foster a positive team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of the insurance domain and related workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Expert‑level experience in Selenium Web Driver with C#, Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, API testing (REST/SOAP), performance testing with JMeter, Oracle and SQL for database testing.
- Ability to create automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience in functional, regression, smoke testing, desktop and web application testing.
- Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Team player with a respectful and collaborative attitude.
- Minimum 7+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in automation.
- Knowledge of cloud‑based testing environments.
- (Preferred) Exposure to Dev Ops practices and continuous testing strategies.
