JOB SUMMARY

The Sunnyside
* Retail Store Supervisor supports day‑to‑day operations of the dispensary in accordance with state law and company standards. The role directs workflow, performs store opening and closing procedures, manages customer escalations, reinforces team culture, and acts as an ambassador of the company’s mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures, including register preparation, inventory reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training of Lead Wellness Advisors and Wellness Advisors, coaching on sales techniques.
  • Respond to employee questions, concerns, or suggestions and communicate resource requirements to management.
  • Provide real‑time coaching and feedback, documenting and escalating employee relations issues.
  • Create morning rosters, break sheets, and delegate daily responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, state and local laws.
  • Manage escalated customer concerns and respond to complex product questions.
  • Investigate cash, POS, or product discrepancies and record appropriately.
  • Troubleshoot POS system technical issues.
  • Verify inventory counts and cash deposit totals, reconciling discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing assets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment; able to lift up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and stand for extended periods.
CORE JOB DUTIES
  • Regularly perform store opening and closing procedures on non‑peak periods.
  • Facilitate training and onboarding of team members.
  • Respond to employee questions and communicate resource requirements.
  • Provide coaching and feedback; document and elevate employee issues.
  • Direct workflow by creating rosters and delegating responsibilities.
  • Ensure team accountability to compliance.
  • Manage escalated customer concerns.
  • Investigate discrepancies and record findings.
  • Troubleshoot POS issues.
  • Verify inventory counts and cash deposits.
  • Maintain marketing assets inventory.
  • Maintain clean environment; lift up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of customer service experience.
  • 1+ year of leading or mentoring a team; cannabis experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical and product information professionally.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills.
  • Advanced cannabis product knowledge and industry compliance standards.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations.
  • No visa sponsorship; must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. permanently.

PAY RANGE

$20.50 – $22.50 USD per hour
