As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop customer service skills, remain flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain inventory levels, and control shrinkage.
• Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of the various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage and backroom operations; provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping) while ensuring compliance with food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines and inventory management.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate production, training and product‑quality decisions with the member in mind, adapt to new tools and encourage fellow associates to do the same.
• Drive business results; ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a work area that follows company policies, uphold quality and standards for high‑volume meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled and stored.
• Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest level, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training them to perform job‑related duties.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, implement related action plans and apply the Open Door Policy as needed.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; communicate progress and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities.
• Embrace diversity and inclusion, build strong and trusting relationships, communicate with impact, energy and positivity to motivate and influence.

• At least six months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Will successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within prescribed time frames.

• Experience in a meat processing area.
