VP of Sales – Precision CNC Manufacturing
Location: Daytona Beach, FL (On-site)
Compensation: $160,000–$210,000 + Performance Incentives
Position SummaryOur client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead aggressive revenue growth for a well‑established precision CNC machining manufacturer. This is a hands‑on, hunting‑oriented leadership role for someone who can hit the ground running by developing new business, opening strategic accounts, and expanding the company's presence across aerospace, defense, industrial, heavy equipment, medical, and other precision manufacturing markets.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record selling build‑to‑print, made‑to‑order CNC machining solutions and understands how to navigate complex manufacturing sales cycles. This individual will also bring strong business acumen, including experience managing budgets and P&L, while partnering closely with operations to ensure profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new customer acquisition through strategic prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling.
- Leverage an existing network within precision machining and contract manufacturing industries.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on expanding market share and increasing revenue.
- Build long‑term relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and engineering decision‑makers.
- Identify opportunities in aerospace, defense, industrial, heavy equipment, medical device, and other precision manufacturing markets.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to deliver successful customer solutions.
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline management, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain responsibility for sales budgets while contributing to overall P&L performance and profitability.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience within precision CNC machining, contract manufacturing, or precision metal manufacturing.
- Proven success winning new business and developing strategic customer relationships.
- Experience selling custom, build‑to‑print, made‑to‑order CNC machining services.
- Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes, machining capabilities, and customer requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L, budgets, or business unit financial performance.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Existing relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers.
- Experience selling into aerospace, defense, medical device, industrial equipment, automotive, or heavy equipment markets.
- Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience with CRM platforms, sales forecasting, and KPI management.
