Retail Sales Associate

Position Overview

We are looking for a Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn store locations nationwide. The role offers an hourly wage of $15.00 to $18.00 plus commission for each transaction processed.

Applicants will work most stores from 9 AM to 6 PM, many of which are closed on Sundays. The position is entry‑level, with no prior experience required beyond a high school education.

• Greet and engage customers, building rapport to recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked sales floor and present merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Participate in mandatory training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting, in compliance with federal, state, and local law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outdoors and retrieve products from external storage areas.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexible to work multiple business locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. Further details will be provided during the interview.
