Position:

Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) – Daytona Beach, FL

• Support the launch and ongoing growth of Ionis’s commercial product in your territory as indications expand to severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).
• Build, maintain, and leverage local healthcare networks and relationships to execute effective business plans.
• Engage key customers/accounts and identify opportunities to improve patient care.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and comply with the Ionis Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
• Educate HCPs and office staff on sHTG disease state, diagnostic pathway, and appropriate patient prioritization.
• Create positive prescribing experience via HCP/patient support materials and programs.
• Participate in conferences and scientific meetings to educate HCPs.
• Gather account insights and provide feedback to field leadership and marketing.
• Understand referral networks and identify/validate potential treating HCPs.
• Develop and execute customer-focused territory account plans; adjust strategies to meet regional business goals.
• Participate in field meetings/training; certify on approved label and compliance training.
• Use platforms/technology to engage customers through multiple channels.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years Pharma sales experience in: new product launches, account-based selling, HCP/IDN engagement, and cross-functional field coordination.
• Prior experience independently managing a sales territory.
• Background in cardiology/endocrinology or related sub-specialties treating FCS.
• Injectable experience preferred.
• Familiarity with cardiometabolic/lipid-related diseases (e.g., sHTG).
• Established KOL and major account relationships.
• Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies.
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient needs.

• Pay scale: $140,000–$160,000.
