Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Mon: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
  • Tue: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
  • Wed: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
  • Thu: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
  • Fri: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, directing visitors and assisting with questions while following post orders and location protocols.
  • Support campus operations during special events, high-traffic periods, and after‑hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating notable issues through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
