As a Security Guard Armed Patrol in Daytona Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. - Tue: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
- Wed: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
- Thu: 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM
- Fri: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, directing visitors and assisting with questions while following post orders and location protocols.
- Support campus operations during special events, high-traffic periods, and after‑hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating notable issues through proper channels.
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Have 5+ years of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
