Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Duty in Daytona Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as appropriate.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
* Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
* Support emergency response activities by assisting with direction, restricted area control, and coordination during alarms, evacuations, and other site events as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
