Security & Fire Alarm Technician; Low Voltage

APS Security & Fire is looking to add another Fire Alarm & Security Systems Technician to our team in Daytona Beach. We install, service, and maintain fire alarm and security systems across residential and commercial sites.

We’re open to experienced technicians and fast-learning, tech‑minded recruits who want a real trade with long‑term upside.

If you can troubleshoot, pull wire, show up on time, and not panic when a panel beeps, you’ll do just fine here.

• Install, program, and service fire alarm systems, security systems, and access control equipment.
• Run low voltage wiring including fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control cabling.
• Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions.
• Perform system testing and inspections to ensure code compliance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Communicate with customers in a professional manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working on ladders, in attics, and tight spaces.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, kneeling, and reaching.
