High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of four (4) years recent and verifiable commercial/industrial related experience. Candidate must have own transportation to report to other College locations as assigned.

Journeyman Electrician License preferred.

This is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.

• Performs work on electrical systems up to 480V, and electrical controls. Designs, fabricates, and installs electrical circuits, conduits, and panels.
• Replies to and manages requests via the work order application. Coordinates work with other departments and subcontractors.
• Fire and security alarm systems repair and installation.
• Responds to fire alarm and elevator troubles. Maintains and repairs interior and exterior building lighting. Maintains and repairs parking lot and pathway lighting.

• Requires walking, standing, stooping, lifting, pushing or raising objects, exerting between 20 to 30 pounds of force on a recurring basis.
• Requires being exposed to indoor and outdoor temperatures and working at heights up to approximately 40 feet.
• Can multi-task, utilize time management and be well organized and flexible.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and/or in groups.
• Ability to use a computer to record work time, retrieve work order requests, and submit requests for leave through established software applications.
