Youth Care Worker

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Care Worker at Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility in Daytona Beach, Florida.

We are located just 15 minutes away from both the Daytona Speedway and the famous Daytona Beach. If you are working our schedule of 4 days on and 3 days off, you will have time to enjoy that famous beach.

Compensation starts at: $19 per hour.

As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You will monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• At least 1 year of equivalent experience
• Current State Driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past three years
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

A-shift Sun – Wed or B Shift Wed – Sat, from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM with a 2 hour break available.

High School or better.

At least 1 year of equivalent experience, current State Driver’s license and acceptable driving history for the past three years, and ability to pass a criminal background check.
