Flight Simulation Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) – Boeing

Location:

Daytona Beach, FL

• Develop architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for simulation software systems.
• Write and maintain code, integrating components into fully functional simulation systems.
• Create simulation environments to support testing performed by Mission Systems engineers.
• Develop tools to simulate, monitor, and control digital messages between subsystems in a lab environment.
• Support modeling of various aircraft capabilities and subsystems.
• Run constructive scenarios in a testing environment for product development and training.
• Work with an agile team to accomplish project goals and document research and development projects.
• Execute software development tasks under general direction.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• 2+ years professional experience programming in C++.
• 2+ years experience as a Software Engineer.

• Associate / Level2:
  Bachelor of Science in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science with 2+ years related experience (or 6+ years directly related experience).
• Experienced / Level3:
  Bachelor of Science with 5+ years related experience (or 9+ years directly related experience).
• Senior / Level4:
  Bachelor of Science with 9+ years related experience (or 13+ years directly related experience).
• Additional programming experience in C, C#, Python, Java, or Ada (or equivalent).
• Experience in Modeling & Simulation, defense or avionics industry.
• Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment.

• Competitive base pay with variable compensation based on experience.

  Associate $92,650–$125,350;
  Experienced $118,150–$159,850;
  Senior $149,600–$202,400.
