Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Job Overview

You are a professional driver responsible for delivering HVAC and refrigeration supplies within Daytona Beach, operating local routes and maintaining a consistent schedule. The role primarily involves driving, with occasional warehouse duties during non‑delivery periods.

• Operate Tropic Supply vans and box trucks under 26,001 lbs GVWR on established local routes, delivering HVAC and refrigeration supplies efficiently and professionally.
• Complete thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, verify product accuracy before each delivery, handle delivery documentation carefully, and safely load and unload cargo using lift gates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Take ownership of your route, vehicle, and the impression you leave at each stop, representing the company positively.

• Contribute where the operation needs you, pulling and filling orders, receiving and stocking inventory, supporting the floor team, and assisting customers with product load.

• 21years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Motor vehicle record subject to review and approval per company standards
• Valid DOT medical certificate
• Minimum six months of verifiable non‑CDL commercial vehicle or box truck driving experience within the last three years
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum one year of warehouse experience in a distribution, supply, or logistics environment
• Experience with pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout a shift in a non‑climate‑controlled environment
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivery and documentation accuracy
• Reliable, self‑directed work ethic with no need for constant supervision

• Sit‑down forklift certification or demonstrated proficiency
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Operate a motor vehicle for extended periods throughout a shift
• Enter and exit vehicle cabs and cargo areas, including repeated stepping up and down
• L lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 75 lbs unassisted
• Load and unload cargo, operate lift gates where applicable
• Push and pull loaded hand trucks, pallet jacks, and carts on various surfaces
• Bend, stoop, reach, and kneel as required by loading, unloading, and stocking tasks
• Stand and remain physically active during warehouse shifts
• Work in outdoor and non‑climate‑controlled warehouse environments subject to Florida heat and ambient noise
• Wear required personal protective equipment throughout the shift
