Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
- Develops systems and procedures to accurately maintain accounting records and standard costs systems.
- Reviews and analyzes actual costs to identify inaccuracies.
- Partner with operations to understand cost drivers and improve margin visibility.
- Prepares necessary organizational budgeting reports, documentation for audits and support audit requests.
- Performs month-end and year-end closings with assistance.
- Determines and recommends cost-effective solutions.
- Strengthen internal inventory controls and documentation processes.
- Lead and support physical inventory counts and cycle count programs.
- Supports accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as accounting software.
- Thorough understanding of accounting procedures.
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
- At least two years of experience in cost accounting preferred.
