Direct Start is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for construction projects.

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to create accurate and detailed technical drawings for construction projects.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
• Review and analyze technical specifications and blueprints to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Make necessary revisions and modifications to drawings as needed.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.
• Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of drawings.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for drafting and design.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input and suggestions for improvement.
• Adhere to company and industry safety standards and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in drafting, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology.
