Special Education Teacher – Westwood Elementary
Start: School Year. 2 full‑time, regular positions. Current Wisconsin DPI certification to teach special education at the elementary level.
Responsibilities- Deliver instruction regarding functional and behavioral academics, social skill development, and daily living skills.
- Co‑deliver instruction alongside peers in a collaborative environment.
- Current Wisconsin DPI certification to teach special education at the elementary level.
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction, strong reading instruction, Wisconsin Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (essential elements), positive behavioral interventions, and the development and implementation of individual education programs.
- Experience working with a diverse population of students.
- Good organizational skills.
- Creative problem‑solver.
