Adjunct Instructors - Art​/Art History

Position Overview

St. Norbert College is accepting applications for instructors qualified to teach Art History, Ceramics, Digital Photography, Digital Art, Drawing, 2D Design, Figure Drawing, or Printmaking. The position is part of a pool of instructors, and availability will be considered on an as‑needed basis. Applications will remain active for up to two years.

• Teach undergraduate courses in designated disciplines when called by the dean or department coordinator.
• Prepare course materials, deliver instruction, and assess student learning.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to course development as required.

• Minimum Academic
  
  Qualification:
  
  Master’s degree or higher in the discipline or subfield in which the instructor will teach.
• Minimum Professional
  
  Experience:
  
  At least five years of professional experience in the field, with demonstration of currency through work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years.
• MFA and experience as a practicing artist (for applicable disciplines).
• Ability and willingness to teach in‑person preferred; remote instruction may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
